Jim Comey throws down a challenge to the Trump administration
Jim Comey sought to demonstrate to the Trump administration that he was untouchable. He posted the 86 47 logo on his Instagram account. He knew there would be blowback, so he took it down and offered a pathetic explanation about walking along a beach, thinking it was interesting, but not knowing what it meant, and so on. It’s a lie, but it’s a probing lie.
Jim Comey was walking along the beach like I was hovering over Pluto. As many have made similar messages of sea shells, his too was born of the internet. The former Marine also knew exactly the meaning of the numbers, and his claims otherwise are for legal cover. So why did he do it? Doesn’t he have better things to do with his time? Shouldn’t he be knitting or resurfacing his driveway? Jim Comey put up that image because he wanted to show that he could so and get away with it.
The Trump Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI are in a legal bind. If they go after individuals who are closely associated with the Democratic Party or anti-Trump factions, they will immediately be accused of performing political vendettas. Jim Comey put out his call to have Trump assassinated because he knew that the DoJ and FBI would do nothing. Whereas he would send heavily armed SWAT teams to arrest Donald Trump associates, he knows that Bondi and Patel don’t have the internal fortitude to do the same thing to him. The headlines would be apoplectic: “They’re arresting their political enemies!” “They are ending democracy!” “Trump is a vindictive dictator and is going after his detractors!” What Comey did in his ham-handed post was to show that the emperor not only has no clothes but is not in the building.
Jim Comey looks kind of clueless but he is not dumb. He could put a mildly veiled threat to assassinate the sitting president because he relies on precedent:
*When Gretchen Whitmer took a photo with “86 45” right next to her, nothing happened to her.
*When Comey gave secret material to a friend who passed it along to the New York Times, nothing happened to him.
*When fifty-one former intelligence jocks lied about Hunter Biden’s laptop, nothing happened to them.
*When Hillary Clinton moved her email to an unsafe homebrew server and risked America’s secrets, nothing happened to her.
*When Joe Biden and family sold the vice-presidency to the highest foreign bidders via Hunter and his connections, nothing happened to them.
*When Fauci and Collins skirted US law and funded the Wuhan research that led to 7 million dead around the world, nothing happened to them.
*When pharma companies hid problems with their vaccines, and Americans got sick and even died, nothing happened to company executives.
*The Epstein clients were involved in horrific crimes against children, but sleep well at night, because they are betting that nothing will happen to them.
Jim Comey knew that nothing happens to people who do things against the interest of the American people or Donald Trump. He knew that he could put up his silly picture and get away with it. He took it down and threw up his disclaimer, should by some miracle he actually be investigated and charged with a crime. Just as he said over two hundred times in front of a Congressional committee that he did not recall or remember key issues related to his work as FBI head, he knows that he can say that his granddaughter put it up or that he literally had no idea that 86 means to kill and 47 might just happen to refer to the 47th president of the US.
Donald Trump, after winning his first election, stated that he would not prosecute Hillary Clinton in order to help the country heal. Instead of getting the outcome he desired, he emboldened those who could hurt the country and get away with it. If those 51 clowns who had access to the country’s secrets had thought that they might be invited to a sit-down with some FBI agents, not one of them would have signed Tony Blinken’s letter. They knew that they faced zero punishment from the government or their current employers for lying about Hunter’s laptop. They knew it was not Russian interference, or they could have called the FBI to learn that it was real. Like children, these individuals push the boundaries until they receive a painful response. Under Donald Trump, his enemies know that Trump is fearful of the optics of arresting his opponents, so those boundaries grow wider by the day.
While Donald Trump and his people may think it bad manners to prosecute people of opposite political stripes, one cannot overstate the damage being created by such people. 15% of Biden voters in 2020 said that they would have voted for Trump if they had known that the Hunter laptop was real. It is time to ignore political affiliation and start going after those who flout the system:
*Publish the Epstein files and let the chips fall where they may.
*Immediately send letters to the 51 intelligence clowns, as well as Tony Blinken, and tell them that FBI agents will be coming around to discuss election interference. Have your lawyer on hand.
*Arrest Jim Comey for threatening to kill the president of the United States. He can play dumb in court. Freedom of speech does not include “fighting words”. Let him drop $2 million on lawyers for five years of prosecution. The Secret Service visit over the weekend was a good start; take it all the way to court, even if you think that you might lose.
*Arrest Tony Fauci for violating US law against gain-of-function research. Use him to gain access to other bureaucrats and pharmaceutical officials. Additionally, determine the value of a general presidential pardon via autopen.
*Investigate Hillary Clinton and the Bidens for anything that might still be prosecutable related to self-enrichment via their governmental positions.
*Prosecute anyone in the bureaucracy associated with DOGE-discovered fraud.
When King David was on his deathbed, he called in his son Solomon, who took his place as king. He gave him a list of people to punish or honor. One could ask what the dying king could care about people who did him wrong so many years earlier. But King David and his son understood that political hygiene demands accountability. If Lois Lerner had lost her pension and gone to jail for her illegal actions against Tea Party nonprofits, hundreds of other nameless bureaucrats would have done what President Trump demanded and not used their positions for “resistance” against the elected president.
If you don’t clean things up, you aren't being nice. Instead, you are encouraging dozens of others to do the same and worse. Maybe you’ll lose in court, but by simply arresting and prosecuting those who violated the laws for political gain, you will teach others not to start. Please get to it already.
